At North Middle School, we believe in creating a positive and consistent learning environment for all students through our "Eagle Expectations", built around the acronym SOAR: Safety, Ownership, Act Responsibly, and Respect. These expectations are part of our school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Matrix, which helps students understand what positive behavior looks like in all areas of the school—from classrooms to hallways to the lunchroom. By teaching and reinforcing these clear expectations, we create a safe, respectful, and supportive school culture where all students can succeed.
