Student Council

Second Semester
The West Student Council makes many important decisions for the school. The entire body is made up of students who are elected by fellow classmates. The four main positions are President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, and they are elected by the entire school. The remaining members are Prime Time representatives who are elected by their individual Prime Time. They hold meetings regularly and decide the dates of special events such as school dances, Pajama Day , Hat Day, etc.
Mrs. Peterson oversees the meetings.

Bios
Alexa is in 8th grade, she's 13 years old, and is very good in school and participates in many activities within and outside of the school. She is a Peer Mediator and is in Orchestra. For sports she plays volleyball, and in her free time she listens to music and hangs out with all of her friends. She is the President of Student Council, possibly the most powerful job of the main four. She makes important desicions and is the students most direct link to the teachers.
Jordin is 13 years old, she is in 8th grade and is very enthusiastic in school and sports. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends, playing basketball, volleyball, and dancing. Her job in student council is Vice President, whos main duty is to take over when the President is absent, and to give advice to the President.
Michelle is in the 8th grade and is 13 years old. She is hardworking in school but she enjoys many activities. She snowboards and plays violin in Orchestra. She also likes to have fun with her friends. Michelle is the Treasurer of Student Council and she controls all the money that goes in or out of Student Council. Another of her jobs as Treasurer is to decide how much money to spend on different things.
Tana is 14 years old and is in 8th grade. She is a hard worker in school and participates in several extra-curricular activities. She plays volley ball and is a dancer. When she's not doing one of those things, she enjoys watching movies, being with friends, and just having fun. Tana is the Secretary of Student Council. Her job is to keep a detailed record of what happens at the meetings.
