You must successfully complete our eFacilitator Course. This is offered through the web. To find out dates that this course is running, go to our staff development page and locate dates. We also offer a second course that works with best practices of teaching online. (Need Link Here)

Then you will need to complete an application with our Human Resources.

Interested in teaching for The Virtual Campus?

To be considered you must:

  • Complete application process through the Rapid City Schools' Human Resources.
  • Have a reliable computer at home with an Internet connection
  • Complete the eFacilitator Course
  • Submit a copy of your teaching certificate (with highly qualified areas listed)
  • Interview with the principal of the Academies and the program manager of The Virtual Campus
  • Participate in the Facilitator Mentor Program
