Jefferson Academy

Jefferson Building, located at 21 St Joe Street, is the home of RC Academy students who have started the ninth grade at a standard high school but who have not been successful for some reason. Jefferson allows these students to earn their ninth, tenth and some eleventh grade credits in a small classroom setting. These classes may be either directed study or a group setting.
Jefferson classes are on a trimester schedule which allows students to earn credits three times in the year rather than only two. However, the class periods at Jefferson are longer to allow for the shorter calendar time of the class.
