My name is Mrs. Price and I am thrilled to be your child's fourth grade
teacher. I look forward to a year of learning. My hope is
that as you take some time to review this page, it will become apparent
that my passion is for the children. I firmly believe that
parents and teachers are partners in a child's learning process.

day that encompasses group work. These situations cannot be
recreated or made up.

- We are a team, (parent, student, and teacher) and we all have a
responsibility to education. The largest portion of that
responsibility lies with the student; the parent and teacher serve as
guides.

Homework
is important because it reinforces what has been learned in class and
communicates to families what we are currently studying. Homework
is assigned on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening. All work is
to be completed and turned in the next day, with the exception of
Thursday's game folder, that is due on the following Monday.
Time is provided after instruction for students to work on their daily assignments. Any unfinished assignment becomes homework. In addition to homework that is assigned, students are expected to read for a minimum of 20 minutes each night.
Everyone works at a different rate of speed; that being said, if you notice your child has worked diligently for more than 30-40 minutes on assigned homework, please visit with me.
