Thank you for joining us in the land of the Southwest Middle School Hawks, and what a "land" it is. Southwest is a true middle school that focuses on student achievement, professional collaboration, and parental involvement. The benefits of such a community focus are exhaustive but student success in and out of the classroom is the premier reason we are here. Each year we are able to celebrate the highest test scores, outstanding attendance rates, few disciplinary issues, and tremendous academic success. The Hawk fine arts programs are among the best that you will find. Our co-curricular programs offer something for every student whatever the talent or interest. Over two hundred fifty parents and teachers participate in our school's PTA. Without question, Southwest Middle School offers an exemplary program for students and a nurturing and supportive work environment for staff.
