Registration Information

New students may register for the 2008-2009 school year at Corral Drive Elementary School beginning May 1. After June 5, registration may be done at the City School Administration building, 300 6th Street. New Student Registration will again be held at Corral Drive School in August.

Students wanting to request a personal transfer may apply beginning January 2, 2008 at 7:30 a.m. at the City School Administration building, 300 6th Street.

Kindergarten Call In will be April 10, 2008 beginning at 7:30 a.m; call 394-6789.

Kindergarten screening will be held April 24, 25 & 28, 2007 at Corral Drive Elementary School.

Students new to the Rapid City Area School District should bring the following to registration with them:

* Certified copy of birth certificate

* Student's social security card

* Immunization records

* Current utility bill showing parent or guardian name and address

Other helpful items you may bring:

* Copy of last report card

* Address and phone number of last school attended

Students moving within the Rapid City Area School District only need to bring a current utility bill showing parent or guardian name and address.
