I have been an administrator and a teacher in Rapid City for 21 years.  This is my 7th year at North MS.  

I attended school in Rapid City through the public school system kindergarten through 12th grade graduating from Central HS.  

I play a lot of softball, volleyball and bowl.  I love to travel.  I have one daughter, Kelci, who is an 8th grader at South MS, and class president.    Kelci likes to play softball, and also really likes volleyball and track.  We are members of Spa 80 and enjoy lifting weights together.  We have a daschund/Corgie mix named Grover. Grover has been known to attend North once in a while in a costume of some sort or other.  

My parents, Victor and Dorothy, and our friend, Peggy, are North's best volunteers often serving food or helping with the standardized testing.  I have a brother who is an engineer in Texas and two sisters, one who is a nurse in Rapid City and another who works for Assurant.

I love my job here at North and feel that my main job here on earth is try to make life better for everyone that I meet.  I work hard and expect my staff and students to do the same.  Our main goal at North is to get students ready for high school by getting them to really buy into life-long learning.  We are all here for the students.  I have the most dedicated staff here in Rapid City, and I am very proud of them.
